LA Galaxy clinches another home victory by beating the struggling Montreal Impact 2-1 as well as move up past Real Salt Lake in the Western Conference ranking.
The victory against Sporting KC seemed to have sparked some fire on the LA Galaxy team. It was very evident with the organization from the defence all through the attacking force.
Cristian Pavon tried his best to capitalize on his opportunities to score but was denied by goalkeeper Evan Bush and missing the goal by a few incheshes.
Jonathan dos Santos played a key role in stealing the ball form the opposing Montreal Impact and finding Pavon or Antuna to create more goal opportunities for the ferrari aka Zlatan.
Goals
Zlatan Ibrahimovic was the first to brace the back of the net 31 minutes into first half, thanks to an assisted pass from Uriel Antuna.
The two ended up assisting each other in the final goal that saw LA Galaxy's second win at home.
Pavons cross found Zlatan who controlled the long cross perfectly for Antuna. Sebastian Lletget was very close and missed the shot by seconds.
The goal sealed the victory for LA Galaxy, they are on the top 5 now and are still hungry for the playoffs.
