The clash amongst the two top talented teams in the league began at 3pm. Both teams entered the field confident and hungry for a victory over the other, the reward; bragging rights and a step closer to the title.
Early into the game it was difficult to tell which team was coming out on top, until a fatal miscommunication in the defensive line of Los Amigos, putting the Cavaliers ahead with 1-0 before the end of 1st half.
However the LOBOS would not admit defeat as they returned stronger and more confident than ever. The second half came with even more thrilling and intense moments. Despite it being cold the intensity and pressure did not drop. It seemed that nothing could be done to give the LOBOS a comeback. They LOBOS added more reignforcement but the Cavaliers were not resting on their defense. Fortunately the Los Amigos side gained a free kick taken by Jesus Sánchez, the ball was excellently places in the box for Mauricio to header it back to Jio, who made no mistake in settling the score to 1-1.
The tie shed some light to LOBOS fight for League Champions.
