Another one for LAFC!

A compact Cincinnati team couldn’t stop Carlos Vela and company. Showed why he is in the race for MLS MVP. LAFC found three points against expansion side FC Cincinnati, 2-0, on Saturday night. LAFC found their breakthrough in the 32nd minute, as Mark-Anthony Kaye score from corner kick from Vela. Then, the Mexican international scored later in second-half, closing the result with a right-footed finish. The score line could have been worse if not for goalkeeper Spencer Richey from FC Cincinnati- twice to deny Diego Rossi. Then center back Nick Hagglund cleared a deflected rush by the forward off line in the 5 minute. Chances were few and far between for Cincy. The Black and Gold has outscored their last two opponents by a combined 9-0 scoreline.

The next LAFC game is against Vancouver in BC Place.
