LAFC providing Fresh Food for the Angelenos in need
Due to recent closure of some farmers markets, LAFC has teamed up with Sustainable Economics Enterprises of Los Angeles (SEE-LA), LA County District 2 Supervisor Mark-Ridley Thomas, Unite Local 11, Banc of California Stadium, Expo Park, Everpark and Cedars-Sinai ( local organizations) to donate 1,100 boxes of fresh produce to Angelenos in need. First home debut came with no gifts for Chicharito
Chicharito's first home debut failed to bear fruit as they conceded to Vancouver Whitecaps 1-0 on their home opener at the Dignity Health Sports Park. Registering only 1 shot and about 30 touches in the game, it seemed very hard to find Chicharito with the long air balls the wingers kept feeding him. The fun was with Cristian Pavon who ran the show on the right wing with his fast pace and quick feet. His shot on goal almost gave the Galaxy the lead 47 minutes into the game.
