In every new club, outstanding players leave their mark and or set up the bar for others to live up to. Saturday afternoon ( April 24th,2021 at 3pm) , Eduard Atuesta gave LAFC an early lead one minute and twenty-five seconds into the game, creating his mark as the fastest goal in the history of the Black and Gold.

The visiting Seattle Sounders turned things around and shared points with LAFC at the 54th minute when Brad Smith converted a header thanks to a rebound from a wall save from Pablo Sisniega.

Despite missing their captain Carlos Vela and Diego Rossi, the Black and Gold stood their ground at the Banc of California Stadium ending the game in a 1-1 draw.

At the end of the game, head coach Bob Bradley was first to commend the teams performance against the Western Conference Champs Seattle Sounders.

"A hard fought game," He started, " I liked our mentality. I felt like our concentration in the game against a good team was at a high level..." he finished by saying that he thought the team had opportunities in the second half had they been able to have sharp passes or crossing.

LAFC will be playing their first 2021 away game on May 1st against Huston Dynamo.
