Despite loosing 1-0 to Nashville, Los Angeles Football Club brought home and lifted the Supporters Shield in front of their home fans with a dazzling 67 points tied with Philadelphia Union who are behind on wins. LAFC secured a total of 21 wins and 4 ties while Philadelphia Union came short with 19 wins and 10 ties, however both tallying at 67 points in the season.
This marks LAFC's second win of the Supporters Shield since their inaugural season.
LAFC of the Eastern Conference and Philadelphia of the Western Conference will both have the pleasure of sitting out the first round of playoffs while the remaining 12 teams will enter into a single-elimination rounds.
Nashville will face LA Galaxy at the Dignity Health Sports Park when the date is decided.
