Back to the LAFC vs LEON: Anything less than 2-0 lead meant LAFC stood no chance, 26 min into the game, Carlos Vela slipped one past Rodolfo Cota thanks to a diagonal pass from Diego Palacios.

Leon were not to go down easy! They stuck up their defence and mounted pressure on LAFC everytime they lost the ball. Leon just needed one goal then shut down LAFC but that was not part of the script!

A mix of long and short passes to throw LAFC off the balance almost beared fruit but the Defenders of the Banc were quick to respond and control the situation.

27 min into the first half, Carlos Vela made it rain at the 3252 stand by turning Diego Palacios diagonal pass into 1-0 lead for LAFC and 2-1 aggregate at the end of first half.
