BOUANGA saves the day as LAFC beat ten man Dallas 2-1

Updated: Mar 23, 2024

At the 84th minute of the match, Denis Bouanga scored the winning goal that gave LAFC a 2-1 victory against a 10-man Dallas side. It had been a difficult task for LAFC to score a second goal throughout the game, even after Dallas was reduced to ten players by a red card at the 35th minute.

Despite facing adversity, Dallas managed to secure an equalizer, but their efforts were soon undone by Bouanga, who had just arrived from Turkey after a 13-hour flight and had just played a game for his country 24 hours prior. Despite his exhaustion and the physical conditions, Bouanga was not fazed and expressed his excitement at being able to play.

Timothy Tillman's first goal for LAFC put him in LAFC's top 5 fastest goals in club history at two minutes and fourteen seconds. Cristian Arango leads the list with his record 20-second goal, followed by Edward Atuesta in second place with a minute and twenty five seconds, third is Dejan Jakovic at one minute and thirty six seconds, fourth is Danny Musivski at two minutes and two seconds and finally Timothy Tillman.
