Vela powers a 79th minute goal to give LAFC a 3rd win in a row since 2019
Despite the win, Kim Moon-Hwan stood out with his performance on Saturday July 17th 2021; showing his potential, hustling from defense to attack and even getting his first MLS assist. On one of his outstanding performances, Moon-Hwan curled a long cross that found Vela at the 79th minute, and without hesitation, Vela chest controlled the ball then fired a canon past Real Salt Lake goalie David Ochoa, giving LAFC a 2-1 victory.
